As we have now met the Government’s five tests, the School will be opening to a wider selection of Pupils from Tuesday 2 June. The Government’s scientific advisors have made it clear the virus is still active in the community and reiterated the need to maintain social distancing and to be cautious. Please click to read our FAQ and to see a list of Policy Appendices with regards to the phased reopening of the school.

Key workers must continue to complete the Key Worker application form.

Welcome to our school website

St Francis is a two form entry Catholic Primary School situated in spacious and attractive grounds on the outskirts of Maidstone.  We are a truly diverse community and celebrate our similarities and our differences.

We are very proud of our Catholic identity, ethos and mission to develop a love of learning and life rooted in our Catholic faith and in God’s love.

Our children are very happy at school.  They learn through an exciting and challenging curriculum which develops curiosity, resilience and confidence.  In partnership with parents, we work to develop high self-esteem in each child through recognising and valuing individual effort, skill and talents.
