When the time comes we know how important it is for you to make the right choice for your child starting school. Under normal circumstances, we would invite prospective parents to visit our school, so that you can see for yourself, all of the things that we are so proud to offer. However, schools, like many areas of society, have had to accommodate huge changes in order to keep our children, families and community safe. As a result of these changes, the collaboration of Maidstone West Schools have all agreed that the safest way for you to get to know the school is not through traditional Open Morning visits to the school, because of the potential transmission risks and the concerns over our ‘bubbles’ being broken. We are creating a range of virtual opportunities for you to see what school is like, and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

In the Early Years at St Francis Catholic Primary School our children are happy. They are excited and motivated to learn through rich and challenging learning experiences; opportunities to explore and take risks, and first-hand experiences. We have high ambitions for all our children and recognise that children have different starting points to their learning. We plan according to children’s stage of development so all can thrive and develop. We aim for children to be well-rounded individuals who are independent, resilient, and confident in themselves and with others. Our learning environment facilitates child-initiated play and provides children with carefully planned opportunities which allow children to explore create and learn through exciting, stimulating, interactive and accessible resources.
