The primary purpose of the school is to provide an education in a Catholic environment which will provide each pupil with an equal opportunity to experience the love of God and a sense of their own worth and that of others.
The behaviour and safety of pupils at St Francis was judged to be good at our last Ofsted inspection. We have four simple Golden Rules that are followed in all classrooms and in the playground.
St Francis Golden Rules
• We will always use common sense, courtesy and consideration. • We will always try our best and allow others to do the same. • We will show respect by looking after ourselves, others and school property. • We will listen and follow adult instructions.
This page will guide you to information about the current and historic performance of our school, with information about standards, the progress of pupils and the findings of the school’s most recent OFSTED inspection.
The pupil premium is an allocation of funding provided to schools to support children who may be vulnerable to under achievement. The amount received is dependent on the number of children who receive free school meals.
School policies cover every aspect of school life. Below are some of our most important policies for your reference. If you want to know our policy on something that is not listed, please ask the school office.
