Year Five have been studying rivers this term for their CLJ topic. We were lucky enough to find a gap in the otherwise unseasonal weather and spend a sunny day at the Environmental Education Centre in Horton Kirby.
We spent the day squelching around in wellies and enjoying the fresh air! We particularly enjoyed being in the river: measuring depth and flow and looking at the dynamics of rivers from beginning to end.
The children behaved impeccably. We were delighted to receive an email from Andrew Berry, the director of the centre saying how impressed he was.
