St Francis Catholic Primary School Guidance on Admissions

September Admissions

Applications for September 2017 intake have now closed.

If you applied online, KCC will email you on 18 April 2017 after 4pm to tell you which school you have been offered. They cannot guarantee the exact time you will receive your email, this will depend on your email service provider.  The school cannot give out any information regarding prospective Reception Year intake until the day after places have been offered by KCC.

You may apply for a reception year place at St Francis Catholic Primary School for the September 2018 intake from November 2017.

Your child is eligible for a place at St Francis Catholic Primary School if they were born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014.

Baptised children from Catholic and other Christian/Church denominations, with proof of this, will be ranked first according to the admissions criteria.

You can apply online through the Kent County Council website or by post.  Applications open TBC and close on TBC.  Full details of how to apply will be available on the Kent County Council website when applications open.  You can apply for up to 3 schools, putting them in order of preference.  It’s in your best interests to list 3 schools.  Naming only one school does not guarantee your child a place at that school or give your child priority for a place over another child, neither does naming a school more than once.

For further information please refer to the school’s Admissions Policy.   The School’s Admissions Policy for the academic year 2017/18 (determined)  can be found here.

For more information go to the Kent County Council website.
